Workplace mediation
Sometimes relationships break down and you need a neutral third party to help find a resolution.
Mediation can resolve disputes before they escalate to formal grievances, or help settle grievances before they reach the Employment Relations Authority. It’s confidential, voluntary (in most cases), and often faster and less costly than formal proceedings.
We can act as a neutral mediator for internal workplace disputes, or represent and support you through mediation with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment’s free mediation service.
When mediation helps:
· Conflict between employees or between employee and manager
· Relationship breakdown that’s affecting the wider team
· Disputes that could escalate to formal grievances
· Grievance claims where settlement is preferable to litigation
